The New Jersey State Society is pleased to announce our 2021 Cherry Blossom Princess, Catherine Kildea.

Catherine was born and raised in Lawrence, New Jersey and attended Lawrence High School. She is currently a senior at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. where she is studying politics and intelligence studies.

Catherine has interned for Congressman Ralph Abraham as well as Congressman Mike Rogers, who is the Ranking Member of the Homeland Security Committee.

In the fall she interned for The Heritage Foundation, and in the spring she interned for Kiernan Group Holdings. She has conducted research on counterterrorism and virtual kidnapping. Her interests include national security, intelligence, and specifically human trafficking.

Catherine is thankful for her parents who supported her and got her to this point.

Her favorite part of New Jersey is Wildwood Crest, but Hammonton comes in a close second because she loves Jersey blueberries! Catherine believes in central Jersey and that the pork-based Jersey snack is called pork roll.

She is excited to represent New Jersey at the Cherry Blossom Princess Program 2021!
