Garden State US Capitol Reception PHOTOS

Many thanks to the Members of the NJ Congressional Delegation who attended our Garden State Capitol Reception Wednesday: Senator Booker and Representatives Pallone, Garrett, Lance, Norcross and MacArthur. Over 150 guests were waiting to chat with them and to enjoy the camaraderie of the Jersey Crowd in DC.

The photos are posted above--thank you Chuck Divine.

If you missed this great annual event and you don't want that to happen again, join the New Jersey State Society, click "Membership" above.

Our fun and always-well-attended Garden State Capitol Reception in the US Capitol, is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8, 5:30 to 7:30, in the US Capitol Visitor's Center (CVC),Congressional Meeting Room North (directions below).

Join us, and our co-hosts, the New Jersey Group, as we welcome NJ's House Members and Senators. Enjoy complimentary appetizers and an open bar as you see old friends and make new friends among the Jersey Crowd in DC.

We will also be recognizing the following impressive New Jersey milestones this year:

350th anniversary of the founding of Newark
250th anniversary of the founding of Rutgers, the State University
100th anniversary of the first US commercial blueberry production in Whitesbog, NJ.

You can no longer RSVP at Eventbrite, Garden State Registration

DIRECTIONS:Enter the US Capitol Visitors Center using the long, downward sloping walkway across the street from the Supreme Court.

AFTER you enter and clear the security screening, walk through the set of doors and STOP! Do not go through the next set of doors, but immediately make a 180 degree pivot and look up. You will see the words "Congressional Auditoriium." Go through those doors and down the stairs, and you will find the Congressional Meeting Room North to the left of the Atrium space.

PARKING and METRO: There is street parking in the blocks surrounding the Supreme Court. There is also plentiful parking a few rather long blocks away at Union Station. Best bet (under normal circumstances) is to METRO to the Capitol South Metro, blue and orange lines.
