Sunday Gridiron Reprise with State Society Pre-Show Reception

So sorry, we are SOLD OUT of our tickets. It is possible you can still get tickets for Sunday afternoon online at Eventbrite Gridiron Tickets Password: Gridiron321

For 130 years, a great Washington tradition known as the Gridiron Show has skewered Presidents and congressional leaders, political candidates and journalists. The Gridiron Club and Foundation first regales official Washington at a white-tie dinner on Saturday night in March with satire and songs. The next day, the club puts on another performance – known as the Gridiron Sunday Reprise - for associations, alumni groups, friends and family.

Members and friends of NJSS have been invited to take part in this reprise on Sunday, March 4, 2018. You can purchase tickets below for $70 each, with no processing charges, but you must purchase on or before Wednesday, February 14. IF YOU ARE FROM ANOTHER STATE SOCIETY, please email Nancy Fatemi at after your purchase and let her know which one.

The show will be held in the ballroom of the Washington Renaissance Hotel, 999 Ninth Street NW. A reception, which includes beer and wine, begins at 2 p.m. and the show starts at 3 p.m. and ends by 5 p.m.We invite Gridiron Club journalists to join us and other state society members at this reception for a few remarks and to socialize before the performance. Dress is business casual.

What you will see during the show is Gridiron members -- well-known faces that might include Susan Page of USA Today, John King of CNN, Andrea Mitchell of NBC, Judy Woodruff of PBS and Bret Baier of Fox News -- performing hilarious songs and skits in costume.

Syndicated columnist Mark Shields relays highlights of the speeches and jokes that were delivered the night before, which typically include remarks by the President – or other member of the administration - and a leading Democrat and leading Republican. Running the musical performance is the director of the President’s Own, the United States Marine Band, Lt. Col. Jason Fettig, the Club's musical director.

Our tickets are $70 with no processing fee and can be purchased through us immediately, below.

When you purchase tickets, you will receive a Paypal acknowledgement as a receipt. Tickets will be waiting for you at the Will Call Table at the event itself, under New Jersey State Society.

We will also email you on Monday, February 26, with additional details, such as where in the hotel's reception hallway the state society members will gather for the 2 pm reception.
