NJ Chamber Dinner Tuesday: Gov. Christie & NJ Members; Wednesday: Reporters' Roundtable Breakfast

The NJ Chamber of Commerce has invited members of the New Jersey State Society to attend its annual Congressional Dinner (and numerous lively receptions) on Tuesday evening, April 22, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Road, NW, Washington, DC.

Governor Christie will keynote the dinner and discuss his second term priorities. Representatives Chris Smith and Rush Holt will also speak. NJ business leaders and NJ VIPs who work in DC will be present .

The Chamber's own member rate of $275.00 is available to us and it includes the dinner as well as the pre-dinner cocktail reception and post-dinner dessert reception. When registering, enter the "dinner only" option, unless you want to take the famous "Walk to Washington" train ride down from NJ. These options will all be clear on the RegisterHere page on the Chamber's website at www.NJChamber.com

If you have questions about Tuesday evening events and registration, please email Kathleen Atlak at kathleen@njchamber.com

COMPLIMENTARY FOR US the next morning, Wednesday, is the Reporter's Roundtable Breakfast. Starting at 8 am in the Thurgood Marshall Room, you can break bread with NJ's leading business leaders and listen to seasoned reporters covering the NJ political scene. This year, reporters will include:

Andrew George, NJ BIZ Statehouse correspondent
Herb Jackson, The (Bergen) Record Washington correspondent;
Matt Katz, WNYC and NJ Public Radio reporter
Jonathan Tamari, Philadephia Inquirer Washington correspondent

There is never a dull moment in Garden State politics, and this year's discussion is something you don't want to miss!! In fact, the entire two-days is a spectacular opportunity for any individual needing to expand his or her professional network in the NJ & DC community--or any observer of NJ politics and business wanting to brush up and have a good time.

We are taking the RSVPs for the breakfast alone, so please email info@njss.org with your name and affiliation.

This breakfast invitation is extended only to our members. You can join or renew your NJSS dues at the Membership tab above.
