PHOTOS: NJ Devils-Caps Fire on Ice Networking Reception
Avid fans, Jose Quinones, Linda Wankow and Todd Zubetkin warming up at our reception before the Devils Caps game.
What a great crowd for our annual Fire on Ice NJ Devils Networking Party at the Penn Quarter Sports Tavern, Saturday February 8.
This event is always so much fun, you don't even have to be a hockey fan to have a good time!
Check out the photos above--thank you Chuck Divine for these.
Caps fans are always welcome to this event, but Devils fans in Devils jerseys are closest to our heart! Next year, you don't want to miss all this wonderful NJ camaraderie, our complimentary beer and hearty appetizers. And, we need you to cheer on Jersey’s team.
Many thanks to our Sponsors:
American Beverage Association
Deep Foods, Inc.
Bracewell & Giuliani LLP
And thanks to the Devils' new Senior Vice President for Community Investment, Jim Leonard, who brought down some NJ Devils items for our silent auction. Jim most recently served as chief of staff for the NJ Department of the Treasury. Coming down from NJ with Jim were NJ Lottery Director John Custodio, Scott Mackey of MBI-GluckShaw, one of our sponsors, and Matt Halpin of Public Strategies Impact. Waiting to greet Jim and his guests were Dona DeLeon, director of Governor Christie's Washington Office, and LaVerne Alexander, chief of staff to Rep. Donald Payne.
At 8 pm, after the pre-game reception, some of our guests stuck around and watched the NJDevils/Caps game on tv and others went over to the Verizon Center, only three blocks away.
See you next year at this!
