Run with NJ: Dash for Dad and raise funds for prostate cancer research
Our New Jersey team participating in the Dash for Dad this year included, from left, NJSS President Donise Cameron, with daughters Iris (sleeping) and Violet (practicing gymnastics); Dana Richter, board member; and Nancy Fatemi, executive director.
Our NJSS effort, which raised $700, was dedicated to the memory of the late Congressman Dean Gallo, who died in 1994 from prostate cancer and for whom the Dean & Bette Prostate Cancer Center was named. This photo will hang in the Center, which is part of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey in New Brunswick.
In addition to those who contributed to raising the $700, including very generously, our board members, we thank our president's mother, Sandy Wheeler, for the great photography and her invaluable assistance that day.
